Other things in the engine bay are a new carb, repaired the throttle linkage, and removed the windshield and headliner

I got a good deal on an nv4500 so I decided to replace the original tranny and ranger with it. Ordered the advance adapter kit for it and now I’m installing it.

The shifter is crazy and goes way too close to the wheel, otherwise it went pretty straightforward

Someone along the lines hacked together this tranny cover plate so I decided to cut off the extra material and take it back to stock (sort of). I also patched up the hole for the ranger shift lever and moved the shifter holes around to fit. Really happy with it so far.

I’ve got the boots all bolted up and the cover tacked together. This should improve the hot air blowing in from the transmission tunnel by a lot. On to more welding

Got the trail gear slider kit and welded those up, the project has snowballed into a semi-frame-off. Going to be reinforcing the rear frame and rebuilding the rear of the body where it mounts. Also wore wheeled the whole frame and will be painting it.

Finished installing the trail tailor frame reinforcement. Taking out the old sections was a massive pita but peace of mind I guess.

Looks nice & great work! You truly brought it back to life, What clutch are you using? Can you expand on the hydraulic throw out bearing?

This project goes way beyond impressive. Your skills are out of the park.
