Anything else going on with this? Or has the 80 taken up all the time now?
I haven’t done much to the 60, mostly just driving and enjoying it. I also have exhaust on the list, it’s pretty leaky. Actually I’m focusijg on my 40 right now, it’s nearly done and then I will shift to the small things on the 60 before tackling the 80

Niceee...although I am a sucker for white wheels. Love it though, paint looks so good on this truck.

I think I saw this 60 once in person. Don’t know if you owned it then or not. I just remember a tan 60 with the plate zip tied to the front valence like in one of the first pics of this thread. I was probably somewhere North of Houston at the time. Had to have been a few years at a minimum.

All that said, nice work on this bad boy.

Well I bought it in Conroe so that adds up. I’m a sucker for $1500 rust buckets so I couldn’t pass it up.

Did some Holliday wheeling/over landing in Arkansas. Collected some trail rash, bent bumper, death wobble, milkshake in the front axle from water crossings, and leaking power steering line. Had a blast.
New shackles and bushings on the way. Truck got 17mpg on the highway at 65-70mph, and 15 mpg at 70-80. Not bad!

I was loaded up for Fire and Ice in Hot Springs this past weekend, but ultimately unloaded the 4runner...from looking at that nasty forecast. Looks like you had some fun!

just seen this thread,i am doing very similar sized holes in my floor as you did, except i have no welder,i am using rivuts instead.
All i can do atm and then cover it in floor deadner etc, your skillz are neat matey following this for sure!.

Since the Arkansas trip I’ve done a front axle overhaul including new calipers, pads, and rotors. New Rear brakes and parking brake cable. Refurbished parking brake mechanisms. I also started on more rust repair. The trail rash exposed some of my shoddy bodywork and now I’m fixing it again. Pics to follow
