Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I saw this 2018 that’s on BaT today:

A lot of good things, but unfortunately a couple of glaring issues. Namely oil seepage on both sides of the engine along with a broken HVAC recirculation door.

In case BaT user LCBest is on here. Passenger side.

My buddy actually bought this one, kind of on a whim haha. He's probably going to try to flip it and keep his Tesla instead. He's thinking somewhere between $56k-$60k. What's everybody's opinion price wise?

If he just paid $54k (with fees), I think it will be a hard sell at $60k. $56k more likely, but I would not bet on it since that truck is pretty high on miles. Buying at BAT you pay a premium and immediately flipping it, will almost certainly make you lose money.

Yeah he's in it for around 55k after fees and travel costs to bring it back to Utah. I think he'd be happy with 56k. What's the broken blend door or whatever it was that people were mentioning?

Air recirculation door accessed via the glovebox.

It opens when the AC is on recirc and closes when it's on fresh air mode.

You need to open it by going into recirc mode to change the cabin air filter. There are many instances of ignorant techs/mechanics forcing the closed door open manually, which breaks it.

If the door is broken and stuck in the open position you'll be unable to put the AC in fresh air mode and I believe the defrost setting will be nonfunctional.

Not sure how simple the repair is. I was under the impression that it can be quite involved.

Mileage + accident.

And BAT may be one of the worst things to happen to the car community

I don’t know anything about the dealer but I did spend a little time in Victoria for work some years ago. If legit this is one of the better deals of late. 2018 Mag Grey, black interior. One owner, clean history report. 24k miles with an ask of $76k

two accidents, neither reported as "minor" not sure what that means, other than they weren't "minor". The dealer seems sketchy. I called. no one answered. i asked about the Carfax and damage over text. got referred to their website. can't buy this one without seeing it person.

Damn I missed the accidents. Price makes more sense now.

Just the dealers name would be more than enough for me to pass.

I didn’t realize it actually had damage on the Carfax. The Cars.com listing said no damage or accidents reported.

Risking 55k to make 1k is more than my tolerance.....

However I have lost more than that a few times....:)

Like I said, he pretty much bought it on a whim. We had talked about 200's but I didn't know he was that serious. I was out with my family and didn't see him trying to text and call me, and when I looked it was a bunch of screenshots that he had won the auction 😂 then I think he experienced some buyers remorse on the drive home due to comparing it to his Tesla, and a few of the common complaints with these (HVAC controls, lack of storage space for random things while you drive, outdated/somewhat clunky infotainment system). He has liked it more and more over the past few days, but isn't sure if he wants to keep it yet.

Saw this one on BAT. 2017 with 88k miles. Looks like a one-owner truck. Blizzard Pearl over Terra.

Dealer bought this one post sale. They spray painted all the rusty spots black and listed it for $59,184. Typical.
