Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

My good friend,

That's why I don't do maintenance at stealers... 🙌🏿🙏🏿. No more to say or add. 🫂🤗. And I mean well.

Two shocking things IMO.

1 - I do not know how people live with trashed cars like that on a daily basis. I must be wired very differently.

2 - I also do not understand how a lexus dealer puts a car with seats like that in their lot. At least, I would expect they try to do some sort of reconditioning first. Worst of all, this is the dealer I take my car in for maintenance.

Have you looked at Clear Choice Lexus?

I noticed this (in real life) as I was driving this afternoon. Exciting, as LC of any flavor rarely come up for sale where I live. It has 50k.

Based on the data from that thread, it looks like it's pretty common across most late-model years, no? I think it's related to age/heat cycles and fluid changes, but that's just my general hypothesis. I haven't seen any data to represent a flaw in 3URs manufactured in 2012/2013 specifically. I also am just wishfully hypothesizing for the sake of my 2013! 🤞

I have seen more 2013s pop up in threads and that data over any other MY. I don't think there was a 2012 MY for the 200.

Christmas came early (or late, depending on how you want to look at it)! I was able to grab the 2021 LC Heritage Edition from Clutch out in California. After settling on the purchase details, they helped coordinate transport to the opposite side of the country--Long Island, NY. Car basically did the reverse Cannonball route.

Want to commend Clutch, especially Sean, on making it a super easy purchase process. He was super responsive, sent pictures, kept me updated on everything. No games, no funny business.

Congrats thats a nice looking 200. Enjoy in good health! Hamilton car play and OEM HE steering wheel will feel like a new car. My 2021 has about the same miles and the new steering wheel and CarPlay made a huge difference.

Adding for historical reference.

Reasonable deals are out there. You don't have to go to BAT and drop your pants.

Did you end up paying the listing price?

Yes. Clutch agreed to cover a Toyota dealer performing the 60k maintenance (all fluids and then some) and some services the car needed with purchase price. They didn't give me a tough time over everything I asked to be done & I already found the car was very competitively priced.

Now to get under the car, scrub the KDSS valve and lather it up with some marine grease.

Glad to hear the Hamilton works; they were one of the CarPlay retrofit options I was looking at. Gonna try to wait a minute in the hopes they release a full, upgraded screen option like the LX variant.

Saw this one on BAT. 2017 with 88k miles. Looks like a one-owner truck. Blizzard Pearl over Terra.
