Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Only spent 2 years and 9000 miles in NY/MO. I would ask for some underside pictures but I would have to believe that one is pretty clean. Seems like a decent price to me.
most car buyers to sales people: send some pics of the car, a walkaround video etc..

LC/LX buyers: send nudes. by nudes we mean, we want to see the undercarriage.

Would you buy this car?

CPO, but spent some time as a loaner and some time in some northwest states that get snow
Just to add, I think people obsess over <100k miles and it drives up the price.

You can often find a truck with 100-110k that had recent maintenance for a lot less.

But CPO makes some people feel warm and fuzzy and I get that.

Right the valley plate is like ~ $1,500 repair. Not that unreasonable for a 100k vehicle that was $80k new. Pretty reasonable…. These aren’t corollas

Interesting results playing around with the AutoTempest Price Trends tool. The 2016+ models bottomed out in early 2024 and have since started appreciating. Depreciation on the 13-15s is slowing down. But price declines on the 08-12 models are accelerating.

I have no idea how accurate the tool is, but that tracks what I've seen anecdotally.

Semi unrelated.
Has anyone been following the BAT screwup…
We get it, BAT isn't your thing...it's not a perfect platform, but what is? Have you considered just picking one you like and buying it? Waiting for the perfect 200 at the perfect price will end up with a 200less driveway.

Seriously??? You need to move on.

Yes, but how much more are you paying for that?

It all depends on a person’s risk tolerance.
Don’t need the CPO if you get a good PPI. Plus you blow the CPO coverage if you start modding.

Relax brother. Just posted it because it was making rounds on the internet/reddit.

Here’s where I saw it.

Not sure if Toyota replaces tires but I think they do check to see if brakes are at least 50%.

I know with Porsche they check tires, and also do any service needed to bring it up to the standard service intervals. Ex. Fluids, plugs, belts etc that are behind.

That was one of the reasons CPO was worth it other than the peace of mind post purchase.

Hey Guys,
I am curious what you think this Land Cruiser is worth:
I think it is over priced and should be more around 40k but I am still trying to calibrate what these rigs are costing. Thanks!
I concur, $40k is at the high end of what I’d offer. Would be a better buy the closer you can get to $35k. I see it’s at a Hendrick dealership and they tend to price their inventory on the highest end of the market and beyond.

That’s one of the wealthiest parts of the country so I’m guessing most of their buyers don’t care about an extra 6-10k.

Seems like a nice truck. 1 owner. Dealer maintained.
