Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

You can't, otherwise you would already have one. Still, the price on that auction is just nuts.

This is true but you could buy a 2018 model with all of the late gen upgrades and similar (maybe less) miles.

The undercarriage is also showing some rust. Not that much imo but geeze. And it's been in an accident.

I don't understand the world. Makes me feel better about overpaying for my 200 at least...

I stand by my statement. A clean '14 with less than 100k miles will be in the 38 to 42K range, so no you can't buy two for the price of that auction.
Ok sorry.

I didn't realize you were going to take it quite literally to the exact penny.
37+37 = 74.3 (includes the 5% buyers fee on that auction amount)
38+38 = 76

That's just how numbers work, LITERALLY. Don't lose hope though. You will eventually find one within your budget.

OK bro.
Stop trying to be a smartass over $850.
Not a good look.
OK tough guy. Three months looking for a cruiser with nothing to show for it except now you are a few thousand bucks in the red due to your own inability to commit, and I'm the one with a bad look? LOL.

You already forgot that BAT charged you for that auction you won and didn't follow through? I am done arguing with you. Ignore button, engaged.

maybe they preferred the 6spd transmission, I definitely do.

Really an unreal result, I really hope the buyer is on here to explain why they wanted this one. $70K brings a lot of 200 series options, so must have some affinity for this color and gen. This had similar mileage and 7 years newer HE, totally worth an extra $10K to me. And I feel like people on BaT aren't financing and that $10K makes that much of a difference.
