Door looks great! Check out Stockton Wheel...Stockton Wheel

They might be able to cut out the centers of your old wheels and make a 17".

I called and couldn't afford the wheels. It would have been around $350 a wheel to get them made. I'm back to trying to find wheels. I have 17" tires for it. Im thinking about the procomp rock crawler or fj cruiser steel wheels with spacers. I just need a cheap set of 17's to get it rolling. My question is about the backspace and offset and what wheels will work in an 8" or 9" wheel.

I really like those wheels but I don't want to run spacers unless I have to. I've thought about putting them on my 4Runner. I ordered a pair of procomp Rock crawlers. They are a 17x 8 with 4.25 back space. They get here today. I'll see how they look and if they stuck out far enough. I've found a few with the right backspace but they are bead lock and I didn't want to spend the money on them but if these don't fit I may have to.

I can't confirm what size lense you need on the 76, but my 71 is smaller than the new ones and they have no angle to them. Mine are @ 3 3/4" x 1 1/2". I don't think those are what you need. Wagon is looking good!

Hey Mort,

Take a look at Mickkk's 55 from Darwin, he just posted some pictures. Looks like your back up lense. Maybe those are the right ones for you.

Funny. I was looking at all the photos on my phone and couldn't see what you were talking about until I zoomed way in. I think you're right. Those do look like the right ones. Thanks.

I've been busy with work and I'm helping a friend do the body work on his Willys. I don't have a lot to show for the past few month, but i have a few questions. I'm on the road again so I can't measure it, but are the gauges 3 3/8"? These are the gauges I was thinking about going with.

I have read the threads i could find on gauges but a lot of the gauges people used are no longer available. These are the gauges I wanted but the only come in a 4 3/8".

Those are Lil' John's gauges, so we'll let him talk about them. Mine are 4" Speed Hut gauges.....4 inch

How do you want to mount them?

That's what I'm trying to decide. I like the stock dash so I was wanting to keep it. My debate is to stick with the original look of them behind the dash like they were originally and these.

I like the look of these too. Plus I won't be able to see where the foam is warped a little in the recessed hole.

Also, is there a source for the cargo window rubber? I've been looking but haven't found one.

I'm missing the stud or bolt that goes through the shifter to the transmission. I've tried to find it online but couldn't. Do any of you have an extra bolt? I figured if I can't find one I'll have to go with the trim sticks.

I am going to try to order the heater and air conditioning system while I am out of town as well. I've been reading the threads on what to buy but I'm a little lost as to what model is the best fit for the 55.

I've started to put the engine bay back together and have been doing some sound deadening in the cab. I've done the floors as well and the rear wheel arches. I think I need to pull the transmission when I get home. I pulled the top case off it to paint it and it isn't shifting smoothly any more.

I bought the Thai door rubber. The rear doors fit great, but the fronts are too tight and keep popping out. I'm going to try to urethane them in to see if I can get them to stay. Either that or cut on them.
