We took a run up to Laurel. Great town. I had to peek inside their Hellfighter place.
Think Bass Pro shop crashes into a Harley shop. Add a gun shop and some really fugly Heeps and Hummers

Laurel is cool. Bought a cool ladder at a reclaimed wood furniture place. Worthy of a day trip for sure.

I want this Farmall too

Home of the SHUSH. Did you eat at PDI across from hellfighters or le fleurs or ? Lauren Rogers museum?

Ive been to PDI. We were still running on lunch.

Looks like it might be time to call Mechman on a high output 2f alternator.

Stupid external regulator style alternator. I’ll not use another one with a Sniper. Hate that 12.5 flash

The 45 got the one wire like you did my 40 and it stays correct

I wasn't to see the Sniper application that makes full use of the 20k tach!

I was watching the street racers the other night and they get close

Seems so dumb that can’t be adjusted

Turns out it can me adjusted if you use a computer. Found that out this weekend

Always. Why ask? My 60 runs 200-215
Your similar experience with your 60 is why I asked. I've got a rebuilt radiator, new water pump, and new fan clutch, and mine runs the same on the road at about +/- 210. I was just wondering why your pig is running so "cold"........

Ive only got 500 Miles or so on the Goat and it’s running 190 all the time. I put the readers in the back of the block drain hole. I ended up putting some heat wrap on my 60 sender and it dropped it 5 degrees. I think the header is inflating it

Interesting. Mine is also in the block, and I’ve got a header. Never thought of that possibility.......The inside of my block is also pretty nasty, so that could also be contributing to the high(er) reading.

Fwiw, first 2 days of driving the milkjug i am seeing 187/190 going 70+ up the highway....

and i also have some crud building up in the engine And radiator. Thankfully i have an OEM CSF to install....

Likely, it is electrolysis happening between the aluminum radiator and other metallic elements and the type of coolant being used. Had a friend who went round and round with leaky/pitted heater cores and this was the cause....

Very scientific Walter White.

Made a day trip across the western border into the Louisiana delta today for a little touring of the Tensas River flatlands with Lou, Patrick and Andy.

Andy hosted us at his new place south it Start, LA and then we worked our way back east with a stop on “Martin Road” and an abandoned bridge before working our way to his generations old hunting camp deep in the Tensas River Refuge.

We did about 400 miles today from Tilda Bogue to Stinky Bogue (PMC named) and back. Great day to explore. Thanks @ntsaint for sharing the place pre- hunting season. Thanks @under_psi for the superb lunch and thanks @pmccraney for the laughs. Enjoy the photos of the mystic place we call Narnia
