I went to see Bob today and decided to cut the corner home on some backroads and check out the infamous Kemper County Power that I have always heard about.
Huge pork boondoggle where they were going to generate power out of ignite...which is basically like burning dirt.

In the end it’s all natural gas. The coal dredge there is HUGE

That place is so cool
I kept thinking the motivation in 1942 was A German POW labor and B no Corp of engineer software.

Crazy the analog data and concrete to understand the hydrology of the might ‘Sip

I'm gonna be honest, after dealing with the Corps (on a different river system) and their dumba$$ software or maybe the operator of said software, either way, i'd take the concrete analog anyday.

I want to visit that place before mother nature completely reclaims it.

@jynx I get it. I’m AD army.

You better hurry up on visiting. I’d go in fall when it’s cooler and grass is not so high.

They just seem to want to make it hard. Got a client thats been trying to get additional withdrawal permit for over 10 years and all they ever want to say is something about their model... i mean if you can't figure it out in 10 years, maybe we need to just build a concrete model to get analog data...

Sorry. Didn't mean to hijack. Back to cool stops in MS

where is that place with the cement river model or whatever its called?

Good thing it’s not named buddy’s butt or butt buddy’s. That would be a whole different kind of park.

On the Coast to go to the Aquarium and damned if it was not sold out today so we made our own day.

Awesome breakfast at Fill Up with Billups then over to Ocean Springs to hike around the National Seashore. Then we went to downtown and there was a HUGE Trump Jeep rally.

Over to Long Beach for lunch. Back to Beauvoir for a random as hell festival

Tons of people down here. Nice to get out and see other people are doing the same
