Tomorrow to the Aquarium

I cleverly disguised a shake down run in my 45 as an off road day trip in order to have some competent people with me in case I failed on putting it together correctly.

We met up in Ridgeland and cruised the Trace in misty rain to Reaganville then bounced over to Old PG Rd to see the Rocky Springs ghost town. Mosquitos were out in full force.

Just past R Springs we saw the first power service truck in the road and I remembered that Hurricane Delta drive right up the MS River just yesterday and realized this may have been a bad direction to go.

10 minutes later. Confirmed

We backtracked and made it to Grand Gulf. The final 2 track was blocked but we made it to the end of the road and checked it out. The State Park was locked up tight. Likely due to the storm.

From Grand Gulf we passed Port Gibson to the Lorman Store for some fried chicken.

We struck out back East on one of my old tracks and pretty soon we got caught up in more downed trees and bridges out.

We drove all around and about and then hit more in Hinds county

On the last one, Jerry just plowed over it then drug it out of the way for the rest of us like a good Marine

We ended up in Raymond where we split up and went home in other directions.

Good day in the Goat. Zero issues. Lou got the first off road use in his 60. It performs great. Needs a cop motor for perfection.

Somehow I stopped recording at Grand Gulf until I restarted it at Lorman. Note all the back tracking. I’m going to delete the track. Nothing new here but chaos.

Awesome.

The headache rack on the goat looks prime for a saw sheath. Tuck the blade right in behind that spare

Had we been in the mountains we may have worked harder versus turning around

LS3 crate motor would be more in line with what I'll be looking for once you get bored with her :)

You will have to drive a Cop motor. It’s perfect for the steering and brakes.

You've been around this game long enough to know that if you're super lucky you'll get a solid 50 cents back on every dollar you spend now on quality upgrades :) Just do it!
and what a game it is...
