I really want to get some of the clear UV tint stuff before next summer.
I recently had the 3M Clearline clear installed on all 36 sq ft of glass on my pig. The front black dash is 30 degrees cooler in direct sun

Been playing around with the console. Lots measurements and sketches. Drew it in Sketchup to get a good spatial view. Decided to make a CAD (cardboard aided design) mock up but the angles were a bit wonky to protract out. So I used real CAD to draft and plot a template. I want to see how it fits and get a better idea of the openings for the shifters. I plan to send the CAD drawing to sendcutsend.com to have it all nicely cut out of thin gage steel.

The console is going to be in 2 parts. There will be more that goes between the seats and gives me an armrest and some storage, and ****ing cup holders. It is time for those.

First one I’ve had, lots of 72,74,76. Odd
I wonder if they ran the '74 model year long?
I know there are production numbers somewhere, but it seems like you see more '74s around, then '76s. Fewer '75s... Maybe they needed time to get the 2F and discs in production.

No work on the trailer yet. I did make a change on my power steering though. The pump had been making noise so I bleed the system and it was good for a day or so and the whine came back. So I ordered a new pump and got new instead of a reman. While I waited for it to show I did some interwebing on hose routing. I had a hunch that was the issue. I asked Mr. Google and didn't get the answer I wanted. Then I found a video of a guy working on a Chevy Express with hydroboost.

If you remember, I have the Express pump and remote reservoir. I had everything tee into the reservoir. It's not supposed to be like that. Only the return from the hydro goes in to the reservoir and steering box goes directly back to the pump. I rearrange it all and several drives have been quiet. I guess as a byproduct my brake pedal now returns better. It was lazy before. I wonder if there was a vacuum affect with the tee setup.

one of my pigs, (the best one) pretty sure was 10/75, so i bet your spot on.

that thing is wild, you plan to use it or just kinda keep it around for conversation piece?

I am sure it will end up being a conversation starter too. Main objective is to have all my camping needs in the trailer. As soon as I get my 3d scan of a pig in sketchup I'll posts some renderings.
