I’ve had a small electrical leak for quite some time...after sitting for about 3 weeks the battery had enough to turn over but not fast enough to fire up. Driving every few days no problem.
I’ve been putting it off till the window mod since I was going to be back into wiring.
It’s about a 13mA draw.
Pulling EFI fuse dropped it by 3mA
Pulling the Dome dropped it 10mA

Go to the interior lights diagram and find this...

I like how it says doom in the scematic. Almost like engineers knew.

Turns out it was the clock...it was suspect #1 from the start. I’m not sure if it should be pulling 10mA for memory.

I pulled it apart and all components look fine. I grabbed one out of an FJ80 a while back so I’m going to throw that one in. Just have to swap the enclosures. Just have to bend open the four tabs.

I found a NOS instrument surround panel in the classifieds for a good price so pulled the cluster back out. Decided to try restoring the plastic gauge covers. They came out pretty good.

The same clock now would need about 1% of that mass/circuitry.

Nice job on the instrument cluster!
