What guage metal are you using? 16? 18? or?

And your skills are strong... My Father (RIP) learned his skills in the 40's and 50's before Bondo, and always defended the old school ways of doing things. Yours is an example of why.

I like the 2.75", it looks perfect. Definitely more interested now.

i want some sooo bad,hate the fibreglass ones we get here,im up for a set,we talk about workplace health and safety here but look at these guys,love looking into the pics its great,good old fashioned skills is something we lack in the so called developed countries,go boys,awesome
 
damn nice!!!

love the torch welding too, thats something i never learned to do, it looks better than some of my mig welding!
