With the 33's I was not worried, but with 35's I wanted to upgrade to ARP steering arm studs and will put them in the hubs as well.

Another tech tip... i am using these to help keep the nuts tight. The lock nuts that some with it are not the correct Toyota JIS size and use a different socket. It kills me.

I like watching those aus armor guys doing all the different methods the germans used in securing stuff in the panzers. Staking, cotter pins (split pins by them), tabbed washers and safety wire. They do not actually do the safety wire properly (and they admit it) that is it pulls in the tightening direction

Looks good 😎
Thanks Richard.

I plan to get a little work done on this tomorrow, then I need to start setting up gears for a friends 80 series. The 37's and his stock gears are a struggle.

New springs should be here Tuesday. I will get them in and check ride height.

You know everybody is zooming in and looking at your CD collection
Rob refuses to let those go. His collection is pretty awesome with some stuff that is super obscure

Are you trying to raise ride height over the posted above?

I know you have more knowledge on this than myself.
But I like low and slow. So curious
It will be lower than the last posted pic. about 1 1/2" lower, then I will re-measure the original marks and compare. My tires rubbed on full turn and compression and I had maybe 2" of up travel.

So I still need to get correct springs. There was a little confusion on both parts. I did set it to ride height. Comes in 2" over the leaf springs and 4" of up travel. I would say about a 5" lift.

I will have a little Carolina Squat going on next month at the Relic Run, but it is in North Carolina, so I should fit in!😜

What did you end up with total travel ?
I will have to check. Should be 10+". I am going to put limit straps on it. One inch shorter but should stretch one inch when flexed.

Should work well.

I'm stoked to check it out next month!

At full droop, I have 10.5" between bump stop and axle pad, with 1/2" of shock travel left to allow for deflection of bump stop and articulation.

I confirmed spring rates and lengths today and will have new springs on the way.

And the pics every might be waiting for are not as dramatic as I hoped. This is with a 250lb spring. Final springs should be 180 lbs I think. Either way I hope the front flexes more. The rear Pro Comp springs flex good.
