No.
Ha. Anything specific you’re referring to? I havent done anything yet except had a shop install and drive it. To be honest I’m just trying to cut and paste what the Tundra guys are doing because I don’t want to be the guinea pig. Tons of guys running the TRD maggy,
Harrop, even one guy with a massive 2.9L Whipple.
You’ll have to take a week of reading to go over the 360 pages in the “general supercharger thread” on the tundra forum. Kidding.
I didn’t even realize it until about a week ago that the Harrop kit I have actually includes a 340lph fuel pump. Most basic answer to your question is install kit and use 91octane+ And drive.
Personally I feel like without a tune and injectors you only get about half of the supercharger. My baseline is at 5,000-10,000ft and with large tires so my perception could be off. Since a tune is basically necessary I figured why not go stage 2?
Things I’ve gathered: unless you are going over 700whp you don’t need the Prospeed fuel rails and system. This was well documented by @ViktorG, he has an insane Tundra build on YouTube. Stuff was taken down but may be back up now. ‘16+ are only currently supported by VFtuner and seems like that platform is rudimentary compared to Hptuners however a competent tuner shouldn’t have a problem. I should have known to ask Ben at Slee when looking for an experienced tuner that’s local. I
changed tuners last minute to have someone local.
Stage 2 expenses look something like this:
~$800 injectors
~$175 pulley
$100 Denso IKH22 1 step colder plugs
1.5hrs to install injectors
? mod oem fuel pressure regulator?
$750? Tune
Excited to see what power Mike @Figsengineering can unlock.
Edit- here is that thread for reference.
