Sweet! Nice work, man! You can't just leave us hanging like that though....I'm sure everyone wants to hear your impressions on how it drives.

It has plenty of power but drove like crap wh Ann I first got it together. I put old man emu suspension on it and it was all over the road. So ended up shimming the front axle 4degrees and that solved 90% of it still working on that part. I’ll try get a video in next day or 2 of driving it.

Check the toe in. With new ome springs, it changes.

When there is not enough toe, it will feel like you have a whole bunch of oversteer, meaning when you turn the steering wheel you feel like the back end wants to pass you.

Start with almost no toe, and drive it. Then add a quarter turn and drive again. It will get better. Best is about 1/8 toe it, but work your way to it so it drives how you like. I just use a string line.

I’ve aligned it on machine and only thing that was off a little was the caster so that’s why I shimmed it back. I’ll try turning toe in a little and see how it goes. Everything is new so just going over everything and making sure nothing is loose is my next step.

new leaf springs won’t affect toe at all. Not sure how you came up with that. And toe won’t affect driving that much anyways. Caster will.

Wow, not only does it look damn good, but you made it look easy. My long term goal for mine is to have a 6.0L Vortec swapped in by Cruiser Bros/Valley Hybrids. How did you rig up the gauges and the shifter though? That has me curious.

the speedo still runs off cable. The tac I took out and cut enough to get a auto meter tac in there I oil pressure is factory sending unit and gauge and so is temp. I had to cut and modify shifter linkage.
