Tom, for someone who just recently got infected by the cruiser curse,you are doing probably one of the most impressive restos on this site.I would love to see this when it is done,not far from you..Keep up the great attention to detail and staying close to original,it is very cool to see this early softop get the attention it deserves..:beer:

Do you also have the original big window carb for cruiser?

Few things about the large window carb. You will need to get another intake manifold for the one barrel carb. The air cleaner was also different. On a 62 most came to the US with a oil bath air cleaner. These were shorter on the top piece until the 64s. Instead of the mount bolting to the far forward bolts on the head it was moved one bolt back. Can't tell from the pictures which air cleaner you have. Sean I believe has a rare large window two barrel carb which would probably work with your set up if you could find one of those.

Tool box band arrived I'm going to copy and manufacture them if anybody wants one I'm only going to make 20 of them.
