I’ve met both of you and I wouldn’t be surprised if you became fast friends.
Y’all are like kiwi fruit, a little prickly on the outside but perfectly tart on the inside and great in smoothies.
Peas and carrots Ian, peas and carrots

Clearly, we all need to get together and wheel. I vote for convincing @Broski and Mrs. Broski to come to Roundup 2027!

I had a couple of hours so I ran out to the ranch because… I have a title and license plates now!

I haven’t worked out my final bumper plans yet. But I needed a license plate bracket. I thought there was only a single license plate lamp plug on the right side of the rear harness.

But wait… Look what’s hanging out on the left with two little protective tabs over it!

Texas requires two license plate lights. I actually got pulled over in my town because I had only one license plate lamp illuminated.

I dug through my 79 parts bin and found two different license plate brackets. With a little hammering bending and drilling, here’s the (probably temporary) bracket I ended up with. I used two great big honking bolts to the factory hitch mount. OEM hardware, of course.

I see Texas doesn’t require those darn annual decals that Georgia does. 😩

@Gun Runner 5 they go on the windshield. One sticker to rule them all.

Yep here’s my TX solution on the 80, and I have a snap on solution for roller fairlead on the 40.

Echo K2 in March, we have a little fun stuff too down here.

You really should have a physician look at that thumb...
Preferably one that knows hands.

That thumb is a great marketing tool. We have a local TV ad that shows a dripping faucet and then a plumber saying “I can fix that”. Showing his thumb to patients, allows Galen to say the same thing. 😊

Meanwhile, Galen is at a football game hanging with my wife 🧐.

Turns out our sons are on the same team!

Edit: for context, I’m on a work trip

We all know how bad that hurt 🤣
Learned in oil field that you take the smallest drill bit around and you set it in the nail right after you smashed it and gently turn it with free hand. Eventually it will cut through the nail and release the blood, it’s the pressure that hurts, instant relief.

The story of how I drained Tucker‘s big toe subungual hematoma on a Saturday night is best told over a beer and a campfire. Let’s just say that my clinic nurse asked me on Monday… Why is there blood all over the wall?
