I have the 40 in our Land Cruiser and we’re having the 24 installed in our LX. If we didn’t tow with the Land Cruiser the 24 would be plenty. We get 550 mile range while towing, idk possibly 800 without the trailer… that’s a lot.

I don’t crawl with my 200. Well not often..
I do road trip and tow more than anything. The extra range would be clutch.
I would happily trade my 24 gallon tank for someone’s 40 tomorrow.
I can’t imagine owning a 200 without the LRA. We would be at the gas station 3x a week. Currently able to fuel every other week. It’s been on weekend tow duty since early May.
Well I kind of can image it. Our 5.7 Sequioa is a fatter 200 and the range super sucks. But also it’s a mom car and I still have to fuel it once a week.
Just got done with a 2 week road trip in South Dakota to attend the BHCC. Amazing trip and took the trailer through some things I shouldn't have but it performed incredibly well.

I've wanted to camp in that exact spot for a few years now and haven't made it yet.
I recognize that spot, one heck of a recommendation.
We ended up with a few stowaway mice from that campsite.
oh no! mice is the last thing you want in your cruiser/trailer. I hope you guys had a good time up there!
We took an easy paddle in the kayaks across the lake and hiked up to the second lake - then found a few new trails we hadn't taken yet. Always great to get out in the 200.
Where did you end up going for your summer trip this year?
We had 3 mice from there. One jumped down about an hour after we left and was disoriented behind the tire… I ran it over. An hour later one popped his head up from behind the windshield wipers so I snagged him bare handed and tossed him in the woods. The third I found dead on the skid plate when I removed it to change the oil once we returned home… that was a fun surprise to make eye contact with while under the truck.
We spent this summer in Montana and Idaho. So many great spots out there, I don’t think you could ever see it all…. But we’re going to try.
