Here's a photo after I removed a leaf from the rear spring packs. Much more comfortable ride and scored 110mm more travel before lifting a wheel. Good result, and free!

Nice- which leaf did you pull?

Pete

Third leaf down, under the military wrap leaf. I'm going to do the same in the front but I'm a little worried it'll be too soft. I should add that they are unknown lift springs.

My rig runs 56 inch long Ford Bronco leaf springs front and rear. The mounting points were custom made with front shackle reversal. You can see in the picture, under the truck, where the spring mounting points are mounted to give you an idea of their length.
This set up gives me good flex and a very smooth ride. Overall the springs are pretty soft, don't beat me up when wheeling, and helps keep the tires on the ground more often. Although the trade off was that there was too much body roll for street driving in certain situations. I ended up swapping all the shocks to the adjustable Rancho Xl's to stiffen it up for better road manners which solved that issue and rather well. I just turn them all down to the lowest setting when off road and to 7-8 for street.
