@cruiseroutfit how is the driver’s view on the LC250?
My absolute favorite thing about my old 100 was the generous view and low hood line. Felt like I could see everything. It’s one thing the GX150 doesn’t do as well.
Great imo

I suspect that will be the case but only time will tell.Does anyone know if the 250 series will have different length front CVs like the other TNGA-F platform vehicles?
Looking at 300 series front axle diagram at partsouq.com only shows one part number of front CV. It might be Tundra / Sequoia specific that use different length CV. The lower grade Tundra / Sequoia also use cheaper CV that have less torque and angle capabilities. Tinkerer adventure just release a deep dive study on 23 Tundra compared to previous version.I suspect that will be the case but only time will tell.
Are toyotas normally more expensive in the EU? I have a hard time believing the Land Cruiser Premium would be more expensive than most of the GX550 trimsLand Cruiser 250 - EU prices on the official Toyota website in Slovakia.

I watched that video and it kind of turned me off on both the 2nd and 3rd gen Tundra. That crazy amount of frame flex in the 2nd gen shows why they always had midsize truck payload, and the 3rd gen seems to have some pretty big compromises for off-road use (although it's probably good as a pavement/towing rig).Looking at 300 series front axle diagram at partsouq.com only shows one part number of front CV. EU advertised pricing normally includes VAT (20%) but excludes optional equipment. High 70s for the new LC seems about right. That's kind of nuts, especially considering adding whatever tax / fees there are
High 70s would put the LC over the most expensive 550 trimsEU advertised pricing normally includes VAT (20%) but excludes optional equipment. High 70s for the new LC seems about right.
Was thinking of the LC trim. I could see first edition being around that number but those will be basically unobtainableHigh 70s would put the LC over the most expensive 550 trims
Yeah, it will be interesting to see where it all falls out. There's very little reason for me to buy a 250 if it's within 5-10k of the 550. Especially given the expected prices of Tacos and 4Rs (Which I personally would never buy, but many others will see them as viable competitors).High 70s would put the LC over the most expensive 550 trims
Exactly my thoughts. If the LC is that much ill go refund my deposit and buy a 550Yeah, it will be interesting to see where it all falls out. Current price of the Prado in Slovakia.I'm guessing Slovakia is similar to Australia, where vehicles are way more expensive than their US counter parts. It would be interesting to compare the price of the current GX if it is sold there, or the Prado 150 price.
Toyota wouldn't price the LC higher than the GX, unless they really don't want to sell any of them. I would expect the 55kish for the entry model and most models to be around 65k
No way would the 1958 trim start in the "mid 50s", and then jump to the 70s for the LC trim.High 70s would put the LC over the most expensive 550 trims
I woudlnt say theyre normally that expensive. The outgoing landcruiser prado model is starting at 59 190€ so I would say that the prices of the new 250 are unexpectedly high. Are toyotas normally more expensive in the EU? I agree. I thought the new 250 would be more expensive but not this much more expensive. The top trim outgoing Prado in France with the same 2.8l diesel as the 250 is 84K euros, the top level 250 is a euro shy of 90K! Inflation must be at work here because there is not that much difference between the Prado and the 250 to justify this nearly 6K increase across the board. I was going to seriously look at the 250 w the 2.8l diesel + Hybrid in three years or so but my plans might have to change. Toyota does not sell that many of these trucks in the EU so they do tend to sell for a premium as compared to other markets. But I do not see a delta of 15 to 20K between the EU and N America. Has Lexus USA officially announced the 550 prices? Officially as in officially?I woudlnt say theyre normally that expensive.
