Nice 👍

I guess I’ll continue to be the outlier but I had hoped that by now they would have moved beyond the marketing cheerleading to more substantial meat and potatoes. Honestly, I’m not sure we have learned much new about the actual truck in the last couple of months. I suppose that will come later from more independent sources.

Correct, drive impressions are embargoed until the official drive event, generally in production until. Then you'll see loads of info flowing.

Genuinely curious, what practical things have we not seen or heard at this point?

‘More to come’ is fine, especially since they are obviously still tweaking.
‘We already know all’ isn’t, at least to me.

Again, this is not a debate trying to convince anyone they are wrong. If anyone truly feels that the available marketing material is enough then I’m sincerely happy for them. I’m just not one of them.

They have gone out of their way to repeatedly brag that they know how these vehicles will be used, modified and that they understand their core audience. So far the marketing, while very slick and impressive, has said the opposite.

Very much looking forward to it. If you have the opportunity to whisper on anyone’s ear then ask them to include others than YouTube so called influencers who will then move on to test drive and LOVE! the latest minivan. :p

This would be my color choice.
I like how the color makes it look abit more serious and less fj cruisery.
I'm a round light guy but also the rectangular lights work pretty well here.

Black always looks great. It’s just such a chore to keep it that way.
I regretted that my lc300 was white
But It was the cure to my paint ocd.

It doesn't have any less scratches/swirls than a black car would but i just don't notice them.

No ceramic coating nothing.
Just frontal ppf and decent washes.
Nothing special. If I'm not in the mood to wash just the regular car wash & unless you shine a flash light on the paint - you can't notice any swirls.

With black if I just let the care routine slip for a little - it would be really noticeable.

I'd still get a black car again though.

Black almost makes it look like a different vehicle. Serious is a good word. I was thinking less toy-like.

All mine are and will be black. Worth the extra effort, not that there's anything wrong with a dirty truck.

It seems like globally the main focus is going to be on the rectangular light with the round lights being saved for the limited edition (first edition)

Vs the US where round lights are also on the base 1958.

Curious to see what the Middle East spec will be like.

I like the round lights but don't want to be forced to pay a specific price and get certain specs to enjoy them.
I would want something more like the 1958 version.

Beautiful isnt a bad word either. Square brings it together nicely as it matches the body lines. Round just seems to clash, to me.

Too bad about the 4-cylinder hybrid :p Luckily the GX also looks great in black.

@cruiseroutfit how is the driver’s view on the LC250?

My absolute favorite thing about my old 100 was the generous view and low hood line. Felt like I could see everything. It’s one thing the GX150 doesn’t do as well.
