LANDTANK - SUPERCHARGER

Are you willing to foot the bill for compliance testing?

It's really expensive and sometimes destroys test vehicles. Ask WIT'S END about that little cost overrun.
Cruiserdan-- this question is somewhat related to this thread -- so it seems like I good place to ask -- in supercharging your 93 I know you added a menthol injection to deal with knock and temperature issues. And from everything, you said it appears to have worked very well. As someone with a 93 who dreams about more HP and has been watching LandTank's SuperCharger development with interest, is there any chance you could provide new pictures of your setup? I went back and read the thread about your installation but the pictures seemed to be missing or not very good. Probably because they were taken with 300 pixel camera 25+ years ago :D. Or maybe they got lost in a MUD upgrade over the years.

I can't be the only one who wants to see what you did there since it seems to have worked and since LandTank appears to be close to making this an option for us 93/94 folks.

Thanks. My apologies if this is considered not sufficiently relevant to the thread.

I can take new photos, as I still have the truck... unlike all the quitters out there...

Seems like a cheap and easy solution to me.:flipoff2:

Pro Tip:

DO NOT put these in the gas tank.

If it were me I’d probably use the split second enricher. You tie into the fuel rail and install two injectors. The controller has a MAP sensor so you can set the point in which the enricher comes on and then set the slope to match the boost with a wide band O2. Simple but effective.

Very cool project! 😃 since the chances of finding a good TRD supercharger are very low I'll be interested in one of these kits once they become available in the future!

LCH has them listed for sale atm for the bargain price of 5300 usd... which would result in about 7500usd with import cost/shipping/taxes get it to holland.
The site mentions the superchargers are rebuild, but it mentions without fins serviced and with aftermarket components so it still feels like it would be a bit of a gamble how good they would be.
The local TLC specialist here had a NOS one sitting on the shelf, but he it sold a few months before I asked if he knew of any for sale. Sold it for MSRP too, wish I started looking a bit earlier:bang:

That’s a deal, paid 6k for mine that was NOS and installed it.

No, I bought mine off a mud member for 6k. Was saying the NOS at msrp wish was $3500 back in the day was a killer price.

Let's not forget inflation:

LCH says the supercharger is "refurbished" which I also assumed was rebuilt. Not the case at all, and honestly am not even sure what they do that makes it considered "refurbished". I only know one guy to go ahead and make the purchase from LCH and it came in such poor condition that the guys mechanic refused to touch it. It then got sent to Jon Bond for a legit rebuild running almost $1k. Also, for anyone who may not know, the superchargers that came from the factory were made by both Magnusson and Kazuma. I have heard that the Kazuma superchargers are preferred to the Magnusson due to the quality tending to be better from Kazuma.
Not even sure why we are talking about this lol. I have always know it to be an available option, but am patiently waiting for the 🐐 to make something new and improved
