Nathan (my 15 year-old) fabbed up a simple frame with metal pieces from Lowes, a couple of J-hooks and wing nuts. His first welding project. Not pretty, but it's hidden so... Works great. Very secure. No rattles or squeaks.

I put the CruiseCrap console between my bucket seats. I highly recommend it and he is located in Austin.

Those are the basic Rugged Ridge black vinyl, fixed back. They are about $150 each . Only thing I don't like is that they are narrow and very firm.

Very happy to have an intact windshield safe and ready for install. That hole in the middle of the box could have been disaster if it was on the other side.

Screwed lid back on and put it in the safest place in my house.
