Today was a crappy day. Had to winch the cooker out of the yard due to the rain. The back door fell off and I have to weld 3 new hinges back on tomorrow.
No trailer plug on cruiser so I had to get that wired up. I'm good for brake lights and turn signals but no running lights. Got most of the cruiser packed. Couldn't get the burn barrel so we will have to use Kingsford. It will still be good though. Mop and rub and 5 sauces are ready. I'm also bringing steam serving trays with tongs.

Hey Gehn you guys have sufficent lighting or should I bring some?


And both Alex and I's wives are comming Sat. So let get the ladies out there.

My wife will bring a large cooler Sat though I might be able to stuff it in the cruiser.

i'm workin on gettin some ladies out there, we'll see how it goes.


any idea on eta marshall? tryin to get it so gehn or i will be there to help out

Update: My wife will be coming too.

So that's two weird names for you guys to work on :)

We can pick up some canned drinks and bring them up with us. We're gonna shoot to get there mid afternoon. :cheers:

I can almost taste the BBQ.................travis I believe things are supposed to get started 1 to 2ish, but some of us will be there earlier than that getting set-up

As for girls; my girlfriend and her best friend are coming so that is 2 and richard's girl and our "calendar girl" Gina should be in attendence.......

Directions from Gehn:
we have plenty of driveway/yard space for smokers and cruisers and a pool room, the 12 mile rec park (boat ramp) is only about a mile away, but there is free boat ramp closer to town. I will be in VT until the 7th (picking up my cruiser!) so malph will handle the details. but i can offer directions:

Directions:

From Clemson:
- go north on 133 toward 6 mile
- pass 12 mile park on left and cross 12 mile bridge (concrete)
- just after the bridge, turn LEFT onto Old Six Mile Rd.
- Take first LEFT onto Gordon Dr.
- You will come to a "T", go RIGHT on Lacustrian Ln (a dead end road)
- We are very near the end of lacustrian on the LEFT, watch for cruisers in driveway.

From 133 South:
- turn RIGHT onto Old Six Mile Rd just before crossing the 12 mile bridge. (If you see 12 mile park on the right, you have gone too far.)
- Once on Old Six mile, take the first LEFT onto Gordon Dr.
- You will come to a "T", go RIGHT on Lacustrian Ln (a dead end road)
- We are very near the end of lacustrian on the LEFT, watch for cruisers in driveway.
