JP and I are leaving for Alaska tomorrow. He said as long as we are back before the baby is born we are good. Plus he has us covered on gas and food for the trip.

Just wait till the pampers $$$ hit the cruiser budget.

Amen...and don't forget daycare...lol JP, you in trouble! :P

I look at it this way...a single child (in the eyes of GA) costs between 10-15k a year to keep them at a minimum level of care. This is basically the most basic essentials and nothing more. I assume you won't be living below the poverty line so you can assume that number turns to 20-35k a year once you factor in daycare, medical, food, clothing, toys, activities, etc.

So, be ready...it really does change your life in more ways that one.

I really wonder about those #'s though.

My daycare is free. The clothes are all hand me downs. So are most of the toys. Food is all new. I'd say about 300 a month including health care covers me for both of them.

Dan can you adopt me?

I was fixing to post up earlier that I must be living over a very large negative number if they cost that much. I think Marshall is more on point. With my 4 as long as your not ashamed to shop a thrift store, eBay and accept hand me downs you can save a ton. Also its all in what they expect, give them tons they expect tons. Thank goodness my wife and I are both very frugal! ;)
