Thank you Jim, hope all is going well for you guys. We are keeping you in our thoughts!

Some of you will remember when I bought this to haul the Angry Pig then traded it away to a friend.

This was the classic case of I've heard of a guy and he has a huge following on social media and I think I’ll have him build me a vehicle……

Four plus years later, many buckets of cash, broken promises and shattered dreams my friend calls me and says the upholstery shop reached out to him and said there are too many electrical issues for them to continue with the work they need to complete their job and asked for him to come to their shop and take a look. He contacted me and the two of us headed to their shop and by the end of that meeting they pulled out all of the interior they had started and we were making arrangements to get it to my shop.

The plan was spend a week or two and clean it up enough to drive/sell and unfortunately the further I dug the worse it got, I found things I didn’t think possible. I made some detailed list with pictures and options and the owner said at this point I don’t care “make it right” I don’t want to sell something dangerous or knowingly wrong so every piece of wire, tubing, hose, braking system and front suspension was cut out and thrown in the trash. We really only tried to save the painted body, most everything else that makes this thing an actual vehicle as opposed to an ornament was re-bought or re-built and it’s pretty good now, unfortunately that was 700 hours of labor ( I worked many more than that but cut him a break) and thousands in new parts to get here.

Man, I didn't know you are moving the COE along. I was waiting quietly for the day you pulled it out of the shop ready for work. She's a beauty and a testament to your level of craftsmanship and knowledge. Although, I had the same dream back in the eighties to haul my FJ40, but more like a school bus with 2/3rds of the body chopped off. :grinpimp: I have no worries it will do good on the selling block.
