wow so much to unpack.
Sorry about your divorce,
Sorry about your step mom
Glad you're having fun.
Glad you're falling back in love. Does he like Land Cruisers?
Love the exhaust fix and those hose clamps. Years ago, moving back to GJ from Evergreen pulling an overloaded 4-horse trailer loaded with paving sandstone, firewood, misc. stuff from the tack shed and two Samoyeds, a leaf spring on the trailer broke and blew out a tire late night while headed up I-70 above Georgetown. Nursed to the nearest exit, jacked the whole thing up with a Handyman, dignosed the problem and jumped in the Porsche with Bonnie and my then 2-year-old daughter who were following me and headed back toward civilization. Found a half dozen of those clamps at the only gas station open late at night, wrestled the broken leaf back into place (while under the trailer supported only by the Handyman) and lined up the clamps over the broken leaf. FInished up around midnight. Made it the rest of the approximately 200 miles (in low range over the the passes in my underpowered Ramcharger). Much to the amazement of the mechanic my cattleman uncle took the trailer to for correct repairs.
The Lord protects drunks and fools. I've qualified a few times on both counts. Sorry for your issues. Looks like you're making lemonade out the lemons. Hope the feds don't come knocking because of the pic of the wicked looking spy plane.
Onward...
Oh, I also got accepted to fly one of the very few Army fixed wing aircraft. Will go to the course next year. VIP transport stateside and super sneaky spy gear overseas. Pretty sweet gig and dream job for an old Warrant Officer.
I’m about 15min north of Tuscaloosa, AL on Lake Tuscaloosa. This is right where the river turns into the lake so it’s just redneck enough that I can park all my trailers in boats on the property and no one cares Nick Saban lives way on the south end
