hahaha thank you, I am very happy with how it turned out. I don't know where we will be in two months.
It is a 4.3L 4bg1t. I rebuilt the motor and had it balanced, combined a few things from the 4bd1t and put a different turbo on it. Fuel is turned up a bit.

After we tracked down all my boost leaks I am very happy with the performance. 4bd1t exhaust manifold swapped over so that it could be oriented correctly, the old manifold had 4mm of offset from the head port to the exhaust manifold... The alternator was lowered so that the inlet for the turbo did not require an aggressive bend. Downpipe made into 2 pieces so that I can actually disassemble it without a sawzall... The turbo went to a 7cm exhaust housing, extended tip 19T compressor and a 9 blade turbine wheel, all gerg's idea. Max egt's are 1,100 making 26psi at the same fuel setting as before. Engine drives much better and feels a lot happier.

When I measured the gasket it was more like a 5mm encroachment. Very Nasty. Very happy with how it all worked out Mike. Bit of tweaking to do but the hard parts are done. Please no close ups of the welds!

I actually have a fair bit of fuel left... enough to at least break into compound territory.
I am coming over next time im in van. Probably early january if you havn't left yet.
I might need you to look at my 2lt turbo setup and see if you can help me out with my turbo mapping and fuel consumption gerg. My yota truck runs awesome but does't have much for balls until I turn up the fuel. Then it has lots of power but pretty much drips diesel out the exhaust pipe and fuel economy drops severely.

I don't really take pictures when out, I'm more of an in the moment kind of guy. I'm sure we will get some over the next year or so though...

I like it too, It wasn't much more than ARB drawers would have been, and it is more than strong enough to stand in.
Added some rear hatch 9W LED's after being inspired by Jeremy
