Very happy with this setup and glad i had this thread for some references. sitting at 22" center hub to fender on all four with all the gear. and still fit in the garage!

I went with 222V / 223V combo with the adjustable poly radius arm bushings set at 2.5 deg, truck drives great.

Can anyone tell me which rear bumper this is? I've been scouring the 5th dimension with no luck!

This thread was a big help when figuring out my suspension refresh, so wanted to share my results. I went with the 222V/223V setup as the 220V front spring are on backorder. Massive improvement as to be expected coming from worn out suspension. Gained 2 1/4" overall (22 1/2" hub to flare on all corners). Stock bumpers, no drawers, no 3rd row, and 285/75/16 tires.

Thanks! After a little research, seems hit or miss. How's it holding up for you and any quality opinions?
No issues, it fits and works great. only gripe was no instructions were included but i called them and they helped me out with the install. they are also welded in house usually to order, but mine was done within 2 weeks.

Cool, thanks for the feedback!

C59-220V / C59-223V with IMS shocks. Dissent double swing out rear and alum/steel front bumpers. I've been running this for a while now and very happy with the set up. Thank you @crikeymike for all of your help! FedEx lost my order and couldn't be happier with the customer service from @crikeymike to get the lost parts replaced.

Here's my contribution to the C59 - 222V, C59 223V Dobinsons suspension kit.

I purchased the entire kit through @crikeymike. Had a 10/10 experience there and will be ordering through him again. Showed up in perfect condition within a week. I was extremely surprised by the robustness of the IMS shocks. The pictures don't always show the scale. They feel very premium and match the "overbuilt" feel of the 80 series.

The previous owner of my cruiser put OME J Springs on the front and rear, with zero extra weight added. As you can imagine, the ride was greatly over-sprung and it was very fatiguing to drive for more than an hour. I measured over 4 inches of lift in the rear, around 3 in the front. SLEE caster correction plates and a DC front drive shaft were also installed by the previous owner. Here's a before picture. Tires in this picture are 35 x 12.5 x 17, with 2 inch wheel spacers.

Installing the new Dobinsons suspension was pretty slow going. I broke one of the lower shock bolts, two of the sway bar bracket bolts, and several other 30 year old fasteners. Mike answered several of my questions and got me squared away, I learned a lot and bought a lot of new tools. Took me two solid weekends to get it all installed.

I can't remember exactly how much I lift I measured, it was around 2 inches front and rear, and it sits pretty level now. I will probably need to add trim packer to the driver rear side. It's sitting about a half inch lower. The ride quality is night and day. I went from wanting to only drive it around town, to wanting to drive it across the country. I also put a new set of wheels and tires on and ditched the wheel spacers. BFG K02 285/75/17 and a set of FJ Cruiser Steelies I sand blasted and rattle canned. The front should drop a little bit when I get the ARB front bumper purchased and installed.

Couldn't be more happy with this setup, ready to really put the miles on it now.

That's great to hear. Those J springs work great for heavy dudes, but not in your case!!

It's amazing how much the vehicle can transform with the right parts on there. Bummer about all the breakages, but luckily that's all in the past now!!

Just curious what drove you to choose the C59-220V for the front over the C59-222V? I was leaning towards the 222V, but seeing you with a bumper has me second guessing.

I was on the fence between the 220 vs 222. I figured I'd rather be slightly over compressed on the springs than under. I can always add a spacer if I want a bit more height. Honestly couldn't be more happy with the set up. I'm at 0° caster and will someday add the Delta arms. I have a slight road wondering but zero vibrations. It's driving smoother than my stock 100 series now.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback

On the fence about this lift vs. OME springs (which aren't progressive, but can hit 2.5")! Hoping to get 2.5" with stock weight out of the C59-222V and C59-223V springs. I see some folks are getting 2", some getting 2.5"+. Does anyone have measurements, pics, or other data from recent lifts they've done with stock weight?

I read through all of the posts here and it looks like I ~ should ~ be OK to hit 2" -2.5" with the dobinsons setup. But it's a lot of $ so want to be extra sure!

My details are on page 6.

Installed IMS shocks and C59 - 222V, C59 223V springs. Finally got some measurements after a little time. I've got some serious left side sag after installation. I measured and checked label springs heights.
LR: 22 3/8"
RR: 23 1/2"
LF: 22 1/8"
RF: 22 3/4"

Pretty much all over bonkers which is annoying. The 1"+ difference on the rear is pretty insane. Any thoughts? I'm not excited at all about adding spacers just because of the time it's going to take to pull everything out again and the expense of buying the spacers.
