@Sajan Welcome the world of BFG KO2/KO3 You are going to have to rotate a lot like at 2500/3000 miles.

That outter tread block that they have a huge sipe in causes the rubble you speak of in many SUVs.

KOs where awesome but have gone downhill...
What do you recommend as a good A/T tire?
Comfort/MPG/Noise..etc

I have the Toyo Open Country R/T Trail and they are relatively quiet but mpg/comfort is eh..

Running the RT Trail on our GX OT and I love them. I am partial, as I have run all three flavors of the RT's on the trucks. I went with KO3's on the Grenadier. There's always a bit of a trade-off when it comes to looks and performance vs. ride/noise.

best I can tell (I don't own one) you cannot reset the "oil change required" type of maintenance light on the dash. Only the dealer can do that. IIRC you CAN change your own oil, but the OEM decided you CANNOT reset the light. That's ridiculous IMO if correct.

why oh why can't they just make it simple? Wasn't that the goal from the get-go?

Make it the absolute bare minimum to be safe and meet CAFE standards. Don't like that? Go buy a Tahoe or Gwagon.

Everything else is fluff and unnecessary. An oil change required light or chime? Not needed.

I'm sure there are hundreds of other 'little' things that could have been removed or optimized for 'simpleness'

How in the world did we survive 90 years of cars being a thing without a light that comes on when time to do simple maintenance.

I don't like the Grenadier because they strayed so far from the origin story, no matter how 'good' the truck is

They promised user-end software and access to service manuals, the latter of which sorta happened. That said, the aftermarket is making up for the shortcomings, and it'll all be there in time. I think a lot of people forget this is a brand new manufacturer, and all things considered, they damn near hit a home run for the first time up at the plate IMHO. It's not perfect, nothing is, but I am a happy owner at this point in the game.

My guess is BMW isn't letting go of something. Everything is canbus and I'd bet running off BMW software. That's why you can't get at the oil change light to reset it.

Well Agile has released their software, so a lot of these issues should be resolved shortly for the end user.

Still loving mine.

good looking rig! How many miles are you up to now? Any issues?

Just clicked 10K the other day. Absolutely love this stupid thing. Averaging 17mpg overall on the 34's.

The only issue so far was a weird bubble that formed in the leather of one of the door cards. The adhesive released or wasn't properly applied in that one spot. Either way, it was covered under warranty, and they replaced the entire door card. No other owners on the forum or Reddit have seen it happen, and the dealer said it was the first they had dealt with, so it must be an isolated event.

17mpg ! I was on 35's and tuned, but would get 14 on the highway, at most. Getting 250 miles out of a tank was stretching it, leaving barely a gallon at fill up.

This would be my experience too. I'm in awe at the mpg some on the forum post regarding their 200s, etc. Maybe it's my being heavy footed, bloated with kit, or being honest, but I have not experienced anything north of 15mpg since I outfitted my rig as currently configured. I may be the outlier by also getting better mpg with premium fuel vs the 87 octane. This is hand calculating with fuel fill ups and the cpu.

I always run 93. In the 200, the Ineos and now the LX, of which I am having tuned on Sunday so it will be a requirement anyway.

In your Grenadier? Yea, IDK what to tell you, but I definitely drive pretty mildly; no reason to run-n-gun in such a vehicle.

I like to party. I traded the Ineos for the LX, so I guess I'm showing my age too.

We have the GX OT, but it's not much more luxurious than the Grenadier lol. Unless they give us issues, I have no plans to get rid of either one anytime soon. I'd like to pick up a commuter and a dually in the next 12-18 months.

It was a fun truck for the almost 2 years I owned it. 12-31-23 to 11-24-25.

They really are a lot of fun. No Toyota or Lexus I've owned has captured my interest as much as this thing has.
