Freaking sweet!

Are those OEM wheels powder coated or mojaves?

Those are Mojaves. 17 x 8, so 1/2" width more than stock size. 275/70/17 BFG ATs, so 10mm larger in width than the stock rubber.

Nice choice in suspension parts....Wish I could afford that for my 4th gen.

The fourth and fifth pics makes it look like running boards (stamped L bracket, plastic end caps etc)

cheap plastic stock running boards. I hate em...but necessary right now. In due time I'll get some sort of slider/step.

Just take them off.
Grab the handle and jump in:)

is there room for a larger tire?
I just upgraded the tires...
Pics have 275/70/17 BFG ATs.
I just put on 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

The 295/70 or 305/65 sizes are probably the largest I would go. I have modified the mudflaps in the front and the inner wells to eliminate rub, but think if you went bigger (lets say 35") you would get major rubbing.

I need to leave the running boards for now, I have a 4 year old who insists on getting in himself and my wife still complains about the step up, imagine if there weren't any steps to help her.

Great looking 4runner!

I went out and test drove one today. I was a little underwhelmed by the power of the new motor. Merging in to traffic, I really needed to step on it and run lots of revs. Do you feel with the larger tires that it is underpowered? Thanks!

Ryan.

Very nice suspension (and truck!).

The engine feels much better after breaking it in. Also, running 91 octane will help with performance and mpg from what I hear.
