At the end of your western adventure, those rigs will need a good going through :)

Even better, there is a lot of territory out here.

Did you get this fuel code figured out? Did you have any fuel boiling problems?

The 200 has a filter for the charcoal canister in the rear fender. This is most likely what was causing the code.

@Mace kindky moved the Whale over to Man A Fre last week.

The next leg of our trip begins this coming Friday so I needed to get a few items sorted out.

Rick sent me this pic.....

It's been groganized, that adds ca. 15% to a BAT listing.

Final trip for 2025. We flew into Vegas. Man a Fre had our trucks stored, fixed and ready.

The east part of the Mojave Road was wide open with lots of Joshua Trees. Not hard at all. Clearly this is a popular route for the pre runner types as we passed about a dozen fast movers. Very cool.

Great morning now off to Death Valley

The live map of closed trails in Death Valley was solid red but we headed that way.

One section that was green was the southern most road boarding Ft Irwin so we took off east to west

Massive country with nobody around. We took a few side trips. This one was super cool. This spring keeps water year around and it was full of ducks

IMG_2574.webp

We backed out and knew we were in for an out and back but we dove in
IMG_2575.webp

The springs all have fences around them to keep the wild burros out.

Side mine trip. This would have been an awesome campsite

The end of the road was an old microwave tower. Very cool.

We made it back to the 25 mile sign and turned north through the middle of the park.

Gate to Ft Irwin

This trail "dead ended" into 3 closed trails but we did not want to waste daylight (dark is at 5:15) so we pressed north
IMG_2587.webp
IMG_2588.webp

This road was seriously fast. Sandy. Smooth.
We stayed on the side of the road. No one around. Burgers on the Skottle
IMG_2607.webp

We woke early and decided to go find the road closed gate or sign to the north then we would backtrack. Turns out there wasnt one so we pressed on up through Warm Springs Road which as just a massive washed out river bed from the storms in November. The trail broke out into Golar Valley (which was open)

We headed north to the exciting loop trail called South Park Canyon Road. This is a crazy narrow shelf road with a obstacle called Chicken Corner. Video to come.

South Park is awesome. We found some snow and made our
Way down Pleasant Canyon Road to Ballarat
