What's size tires do you have out of curiosity? Debating which to grab since I haven't got my set up yet to measure.

I am currently Running 37x12.5x17 with 0 offset rims, I may have been on 35s when I first did this.

I didnt use the tires to determine shim length.

I did it with out tires and the steering stops all the way in. Right now I get a little bit of rub on the radius arms at full lock. I usually back off a hair when I hit full lock, it puts extra stress on all the components with very little gain.

got everything installed on my fxj with the chase bay res and all the other parts. Is there a vent for this whole set up to outside air or does the chase bay do this through the cap? my friend that installed was asking and has never done this on the an fzj he normally build buggies and was asking cause he didn't see a vent set up per say.

I don't know specifically, but in general venting a hydraulic system is bad. They should be sealed. No vent to atmosphere whatsoever. The system should operate under internal pressure when it's hot. Hydraulic pumps work much better this way.
