New member here. I just bought zuluzeugma's 77 Fj55 off BaT. Had a 76 Fj40 when I was a teen. I will probably look into advice on getting my new Oklahoma Iron Pig smogged in Cali. In the meantime, I have a ranch in NorCal where it can roam free.

I bought it a few years back and then an HZJ73 basically fell in my lap so I've had 3 landcruisers ever since and really only have room/time for two.

Allegedly this thing had a restoration in the 90's but I can't confirm. It has some rust spots on the body but looks great from 10 feet. the frame appears to have zero cancer to me. I drove it 4 hours home when i bought it a few years back with no problems.

Not looking for any trades currently as I'm trying to make space in the garage.

I saw the POs listing but he didn't have a build thread or anything. Now I see the engine pics from BaT; you don't have an air rail or associated air injection stuff like the smog pump. But you do have the exhaust manifold, even has the warm air riser. Probably the stock carb too. Not too terrible if you do need to smog it
