Beautiful, we were enjoying similar view this morning at sunrise minus the lake.
Now I sit in the Vet ER cause our yellow lab tried playing with Pygmy rattlesnake and got bit on nose.
This ain’t gonna be cheap!

Sorry to hear that Jon. Hopefully he will be OK. I thought Pygmy Rattlesnakes were just in the Southeast - guess not.
Think we’re gonna be fine, had little swelling around bite and we’re just gonna let vet watch her for little bit for any signs indicating need for antivenom. This time looks like dry bite.
Wallet gonna get the worst part of this in the end.
We did take our rescue lab into pet smart while we wait for Maggie to be released.
This was fun, Sadie had never been anywhere like this and you could tell. She really had fun with the birds.

Lol, and we’re good and on way home for monitoring. Little sedated from pain meds. Got lucky this time. You can see where she was bit, I’m going home and hunting me some snakes.

Supplier took a bunch of us to abuse some cars on a track, been 20yrs for me. The ferry ride to Vancouver Isle was probably best I’ve ever had. Nice break from the stress fest.
We put a bench in our woods looking toward the house. We did this back in 2014. Lately, I’ve been going up there for my morning coffee. Took this shot earlier this week as the fog hung around. Nice way to start my day.

I’ve been lucky to live in some beautiful areas including the mountains of Colorado until recently. I absolutely love the morning fog over the grass and large trees everywhere. Everything waking up and hummingbirds drinking from their feeders. The spring brings the morning gobblers and late evening deer snorting at ya. To me it’s hard to beat watching the dogs enjoy the open area not realizing how lucky they are to have this kinda existence.

Daughter up your way with her boyfriend one last weekend before the two of them go opposite ways after high school. She is around Pine Point and pics look beautiful! Can’t wait to get up there in the future.
