I went over to SLC for the weekend.
My oldest sister’s birthday is today. My little sister came in as well.
We will go see Mom, and then go to the Mammoth game.
Last night we went to the Utes tailgate and then watched the Blue Jays lose…

I’ve learned concrete pad that side room built on is 8+ inches thick. That’s gonna take some time and one of those hydraulic chisels. Will break up and use in some wash outs we have on back of property then top with soil.

Yeah fairly new, maybe 5 years. The hot water heater is newer. It’s hidden behind the plywood which I engineered to fit in hole where door had to be removed to fit the hot water heater they make these days.

The plywood was secured with a bunch of gorilla tape (actually a lot) and caulking. The black can be seen on right side of pic. Redneck repair that has held up well. Repair was only needed for a few months but ended up being a year including a winter.

Really don’t have need for the AC unit, happy to load it for you if you want it?

No I appreciate the offer Jon. No need on my end. Was just musing that you might repurpose for your shop but I think you’re already set there.

Of course just messing with you also. I have reached out to our builder to see if he knows anyone in need so we could give it to them.

Tried helping kid out yesterday with old crappy trailer my dad bought a couple years ago. Kid said he could use it for his lawn service and picked it up yesterday after i gave it to him. Kim see’s it on FB a few hours later for sale for $800. Pictures were right outside my gate. He wasted no time.

Can’t trust anyone these days it seems.

Lots of family time lately.
The boy's birthday was Friday. We had him over last night for some amazing gourmet burgers - thanks to the :princess:
Little sister came up to celebrate with us.
Dad called yesterday and said they might be able to make it over for Thanksgiving - that would be pretty darn cool to have them visit for the holidays.
It will be our first Thanksgiving in the new house!

i will be praying that all happens, hope house is working out, even though making it your own takes a ton of work
Blessings to you and yours
Don
Thanks Don!
It is indeed taking some work.
Little by little…

Turning out to be good day, typically would go to Stillwater and watch my cowboys likely get their butts kicked in football but too much to do here at home to get pad started.

Trailer gone and in piles which I’ve been loading dumpsters this morning. Now it’s take your pig to town and get some diesel, also cold weather driving scorpions inside so time to spray.

Gots to figure what I want to do with this huge stump.

Is that a real thing? Cold weather scorpions or reference to some other gremlin?

When cool front hits we seem to have them migrate inside shop. Along with other creepy critters. Sure don’t need to step on a scorpion in the night.
