This was my dads FJ, he was the only owner and passed away in 2019. I had the FJ shipped from Northern California to Texas. I tore it all down and restored at home in my garage. Everything is pretty stock, its has the original motor which had been rebuilt which has about 20k miles on it. It has a weber carb, a mallory ignition, aluminum fan, electric fuel pump, new starter. It has brand new old man emu shocks, new wheels and and tires, disc brakes, the electrical has all been redone, all new upholstery, all the wheel bearings have been redone. It was tore down to the frame and put back together. New clutch, master cylinder, brand new battery. Im asking $37,999 but I'm willing to take offers. I have tons of photos from the start to finish of restoring it that can provide.

It's a difficult thing to do but necessary.
Life happens and having to sell a very special 40 to get to your next place in life unfortunately required.
I know you poured your heart and soul into restoring this Danni. Wish you all the best in the world.

Very nice work, I'm sure he would be super proud of the end result. I love the look of those tires, looks like the old buckshot mudders. Are they brand new? Can you share brand, tire & wheel size, and where you purchased?

GLWS, someone will get a really nice 40.

On edit on my desktop now that I can zoom in on a big screen, it looks like they are Buckshot mudders!

I assume this FJ is long gone but thought I’d ask since it’s still posted here. Let me know if it’s available.

Wish it could have stayed with her, or at least remained in Texas. Hope the new owner takes good care of it.

Might be at that dealer on consignment since it's price is pretty close to what was being asked by op
Good point. I hadn't considered that. Regardless, it's a nice rig with history and I hope it goes to a good home.
