Hay hope the trip went smoothly. looks fantastic.

Yeah no probs matt, thanks for the coffee and chat, kept me goin for a few hours before i pulled over and slept.
About 20 mins from home in a slow spot across an old bridge coming into the mountains the trailer let go off the truck.
I thought i'd broken a spring on it but i looked in the mirror and it was swinging left and right on the chains left holding it to the bar.
I pulled over and found the new tow ball i'd fitted the day before had lots its nut god knows when, the tongue was new too and powdercoated so im guessing the ball didn't get a good bite when i tightened it.Surprising cause it had a nice big spring washer on it and i tightened it as hard as i could,i didn't lock tight it.
I heard a few clucks hours before but i thought they were just the usual haymen reece type towbar clunks.Ive never seen a ball come loose before.
It could of been real ugly if i was at 100klms or so.
I left the trailer in front of a house and returned with the troopy a few hours later and picked it up.

Its been non stop rain here for 2-3 days,Heavy! I washed it this arvo and took a few photos, will load them up tomorrow morning.

Do you have any full pics of the finished product all together?? LOOKS AMAZING!!!

Right click save picture!
That really is a nice truck.
Was no prob having you swing by for the coffie, was great to talk about things other than babies and boob feeding versus bottle feeding, there is only so much a guy can take of that!
Cant emagine it was a nice feeling to see the trailer swinging like that behind the truck!
Oh and when you have a moment do you mind showing me some pics of the draws?
Oh and one of these days when i get time i think i'll have to try the fishing spots were where talking about, would love to catch a trout bigger than 5 inches!
Have a good one Matt

Just read you still working on the interior sorry:frown:

Looks awesome Goldchaser, really liking the look with the black flares and black door handles, but I am a bit of a details man anyway!!

Jealous of the fact that yours it at the "ready to head off and drive it" stage... I've been told my wheels are still another 4 weeks away, so I'm still just fiddling with little stuff and biding my time until they turn up and I can afford to get the suspension that I want.

Have fun with it, and again, the photo's look great!!!:)

P.S. How did you find the sound dampener/new headliner etc affected the normal driving sounds? Does it sound/feel more like a new(er) car with the noise dulled down?
