Hj61 sahara overhaul (4 Viewers)

Motor is alot quieter but still using a little oil,just replaced turbo so that should help.
It will do for a few years but i think it may of prefered a bore etc. When its cold its still blowing a little blue smoke.
Maybe the rings will bed in further im not sure?

I have a BJ60 that I'm swapping an HJ61 body onto. Cutting out my dash to keep my VIN and LHD, but I'm excited to have a High Roof soon!

Question to the OP: Looks like you removed the sunroof. I would like to do the same. What did you use for a filler piece? Did you just weld and bondo? Where did you find the inner roof supports where the sunroof frame used to sit?

Hi peezeed,dont check in that often,replied to a pm the other day about something,not sure if it was you,the roof supports i got a couple out of wrecks,i cant remember if they were 60 or 75's sorry,just modded with some plate on the bottom,just had a look,two rears look standard,you have 3,looks like ive got a rear out of high roof in the middle,front one might be 75 or 60?
You can bend them a little etc to fit,take a pic and put it up....
