Thanks Strick

Today I put my exhaust brackets on where I didn't weld it, so I could take it off if I needed.

I wired up my new gauges today, when you start the car the gauges spin around clockwise and then anti clockwise and whistle :rimshot: Not sure about that noise

Anyway I took it for a drive and at 110km/h (60mph) the pyro (EGT) was reading 300 degrees Celsius and the boost was at 10psi. That all sounds good, hope it's right.

They also have built in alarms, so I set the EGT at 600 degrees and the boost at 20psi.

So now I've just got the intercooler to go and I'll have the trifecter :D

 Spudman

So finally got my intercooler installed and very happy with it

Just gotta cut the hole in the bonnet and fit the scoop

Today started working out where to mount the bonnet scoop and whether to paint it satin black or factory red:idea:

I like red. And that intercooler is sexy as hell... I wish i had a need for one

Fantastic mate, is the intercooler a skyline one? Did you have to make up your own brackets?

The IC is off a 4.2 Nissan patrol TD, here's my brackets

Also picked up a set of near new heavy duty front springs today for nicks, pays to be in the right place at the right time, a bloke up here got them for his 75 series but they didn't fit

So this weekend I'll be taking off the old flat ones and getting rid of those extended shackles :)

 Spudman

I don't know, do you think it would have an huge impact, or minimal effect, didn't even think about it to be honest.

I think it might affect the air flow seeing as how low profile your scoop is. I would drive it with the deflector, then drive it on the same road without it, see how much of a difference it makes. Your rig is looking good.
