Headlight upgrade for better lights?

I know this is the 70 section but according to those directions above, would just the harness from this kit work in a certain 4 headlight land cruiser?

No. One could tweak two or these harnesses to work with the FJ62's ground switching system buy even at that it wouldn't be with the time/cost over an IPF upgrade harness imo.

Thanks, just curious based on those directions. Ok back to 70 series, sorry for the diversion!

I'm running them on a 24V 70 with different bulbs and some tweaked wiring. The 40 harness is power switched, the 6x/7x is ground switched, constant power to the bulbs.

I stand corrected .. the non-heated ones I found now are $169 .. I found a place showing the heated ones for $249 but they are out of stock.

I run the non-heated and the only issue I have is that the high beam indicator does not light up, but these are bright enough that one does not need an indicator!
I thought this is interesting that your High Beam indicator no longer comes on. I'm in the process of getting a BC provincial inspection (terrible) But I have Trucklites in my BJ74 and have the same problem...No indicator. I'm wondering if I can switch back to stock headlights for the inspection and that will solve the problem or if there is a fuse or bulb I can track down. Did you ever solve yours?

Problem Solved! I just had to switch back to stock bulbs/lenses and my high beam indicator has returned! Phew!

i used the jeep led headlights
according to package they support 24 volt .. in real not
so i use relays to switch them on

Currently running these on my BJ74, I want to put led bulbs in but don’t know which ones to get. Have you done this upgrade ?
The Grote ones snap right in the place of the old headlights. 5 minutes per light.

Before you buy anything, here's a good video comparison between quality and garbage 7in headlights.

Homie holding the shotie; wired flex but okay. 🤣🤣

I've had the Truck Lite 27275C on my PZJ77 for a little over two years now and am quite satisfied. The heated lenses are a nice addition if you live up North as the heat emitted by LED headlights isn't always sufficient to melt accumulated snow or ice. I also recall the owner of an HZJ78 from Germany who had installed a similar model that had an extra wire for daytime lights which mine don't have.
