No, but it wasn't too bad. I need to get everything connected before I can start her up and able to adjust the valves. Getting there slowly.....

Not much room for a pillar gauge pod. Damn a-pillar is really thin. I might have to trim and heat/bend the plastic.

What color are you going to go with? I thought about color matching, but it'd get dirty fast!

Looks like I'm adding AC to the list. I bought a used evaporator for an FJ40 from Cruiser Corps. I think it's a Nostalgic Air unit. The parts are available and generic enough for me to figure out....I hope. :)

David,

Does that unit mount under the glove box? Sometime could you measure the length, from vent to vent.

Ron, if you're looking for something really small and low profile, you should check out what Gary Waggoner uses. He has some of the sweetest custom builds out there. In the thread below, he shows what he did to install a Classic Auto Air unit behind the dash of his FJ45 project. Scroll down to post #20.

Hey David,

That's the unit I'm using. Restomod and classis auto air, are the same company. Very good unit to work with.

Thanks,

I finished painting the valve cover yesterday. I used Rust-oleum Chrysler Industrial Red high temp paint. I wish it was a little bit darker...
