Upgraded from stock wheels and 265/65 R17 Toyo OpenCountry AT2 to TRD Pro Bronze wheels with 265/70 R17 BFG KO3. Just barely clears in the front, but may need to adjust the inner fender liner, Stock suspension for now.

Love the wheels. I would say you need new suspension. You will also get more clearance when the body it higher.

8112s in front at lowest setting unmeasured but specs list 1.4" lift. The rear airspring adjustment rod moved very close to the top of the slide opening with 8100s. This took the rear axle further from the bump stops which at original height caused the paint to wear away and leave a nice polished mark. Method MR316 17x8.5 0 offset w/ Goodyear Ultra Perm Terrains 265/70 17. Front left rubs in reverse. Need to apply more heat to liner.

Nitto Recon Grappler
255/80/17

OME 2imch standard
OME UCA
Completely new front end.

Alignment came in perfect and once I took the boards off, zero rubbing. Haven’t been able to get to full compression, but lock to lock in daily I’ve had no rubbing. Figure with the Perry bump stops and sticking with stick or something slightly more offset, I shouldn’t have issues.

You did a good job on that bumper trim. Looks really good. What winch mount are you running? Also what mudflaps? Just generic universal ones?
Thanks,
Is a DIY I did back in 2018

Mudflaps are from 87 Toyota pickup I found

That's awesome, I love those.

How are you liking the KO3? Did you pick up a lot more road noise? Gas take a hit?
Love them so far, got them in time for GSMTR 33 at Windrock back in June, did easy stuff and did much better than the last outing with the Toyos, but was also less muddy this time. Not really any noticeable road noise under 70, over 70 its maybe just a tick or two more whine than the Toyos, but nothing the music can't cover up. As far as gas I haven't noticed a lot of change. Per the onboard computer thingy, I was up to the mythical 18.0 mpg before the new tires, now shows 17.9 mpg.

That looks great. How do they do lock to lock?
Everything's fine save for the minor inner fender rub on the drivers side, thought it'd go away as I get more miles on the tires, but may be more due to stock suspension/KDSS lean. Ate thru the zip ties I tried, either need to get a heat gun or trim the inner fender liner. Usually only notice the rub when parking.

But if your suspension isn't leaning/worn out like mine you'd probably be fine.

Are these the OEM wheels? I have been waiting for a sale or perhaps some replicas on the bay. Again - it looks fantastic.
