@RUSH55 man I apologize just saw your bump. Between life, wife and young kiddos. I just try to buy a piece here and there and hoard them away. I keep it in one piece, so I can drive it and use it. I go once a year to the Souther Cruiser Crawl and ride with some buddies. Been helping my grandparents out, just been busy. They been in and out hospital since January. I just troll here and buy cool t shirts and get ideas on how to spend money. Lol

Both switches works, just seem like it’s still in a bind. Hit switch and lights dim. Finally got it up. I have a older motor spins free great when out of regulator. Thought the plastic gear had it solved but guess not.
If it’s even slightly bound up with the weather strip on the sides it will trip the breaker.
If you can use the key, try it putting pressure on the tailgate by hand and see if that helps. Lube the runners too

Guess I need to check track, you can assist it with key up and down. Even with the glass unhooked from regulator it still struggles. The center of my plastic gear was different I just milled it out till it fit. I need to order the correct one. It may be slipping on the shaft.

Pretty sure I am a idiot. I didn’t realize that come off the shaft and that bushing was separate. I now need a rear window gear and then going to break down regulator and clean and lube. I milled mine out with a bit and drill press. Trying to make it work….lesson learned.
These rear windows are ever frustrating. So killer when they work. Each time i use mine I am worried it will be the last before I have to take it apart and revisit.

Well I went back outside today and rechecked mine. It’s stuck in the up position at least. This should be interesting repair.

Back in action. I still seems like she struggles on the downward side and strong on way up. She is working though, if you raise and lower her couple times back to back circuit breaker will trip. It’s does reset though.
