Thanks.

Yeah, they seem to be quite a bit different between mine (for 2010) and yours.
That's because the 2016 facelift changed this area of the dash, so a different design was necessary for your 2010.

Yes, I fully understand that

My point is, the few folks claiming install/fitment issues seem to have the 2010 variant, as it’s not as straight forward at the 2016 variant

I had quite a few install issues on my 08. I blamed on Arizona hot dash and my lack of skills mostly, but was still more of a headache than I'd anticipated. End result though years later.......rock solid still and super happy with it.

Is there a recommendation for a solution for carrying 2 Jerry cans (ideally horizontally but not flat) on the Expo rack? Is the front runner mount the best option, or is there something else? Also, scepter cans vs wavisn. Does the plastic make enough difference in weight saving to go that way?

the Front Runner mount seems to work well, bolted direct to the rack plates, then use 1-2 tube clamps to secure it to the cross bars. tube clamps — Gamiviti - https://www.gamiviti.com/tube-clamps

Having bought your racks for my 80,100 and now 200. Also for Rachels GX and Sarah's 100, I have bought 5 racks from you. All of them have been awesome :)

Since this is the 200 section, my current Rack

Couple updates for the 200 peeps...

- have an updated design for the 2008-2015 dashboard accessory mount in production right now... just refined that front edge a little more, hoping the fit is a little bit better. will get an install pic and update the site as soon as possible.

- have new lower pricing for all of the bags, including both sizes of the tailgate storage bags and cool bags for the cool box. and quite a bit of stock... still need to update the video on that page, but the bag materials & sizes are the same.

- and we're close to launching a brand new product for the 2016+ LX570's... that being a new roof rail clamp that will allow you to bolt up some extrusion cross bars, enabling the addition of tents, awnings, roof boxes, etc. Not sure if we'll make an adapter to mate these to a full rack, kinda basing that on demand, but will for sure be stocking the clamps and adding those to our cross bar packages. here are a couple pictures of the most recent prototype...

Feel free to hit me up if you'd like on the pre-order list for these... and once I have stock I'll be doing a full install video on them. Won't take anyone's money until that's complete. But should all happen in the next 4-5 weeks here... stay tuned!

hey guys, have an update on the post above... the LX570 brackets are finalized, installed, working. They now have their own web page, with video:

please hit me up with any questions, and we should have our first production batch of these shortly. Here are a few final install pics...

That's awesome. My LX570 barely fits into my garage due to the 6' 6" door. The shark fin antenna barely clears. Are these racks taller than the shark fin?

Actually lower than the antenna... the bars are just a little lower than a 2x4- so one test is if you can lay a 2x4 across your rails and get in the garage then you should be good. Here's the best pic I have:

Big thank you @nakman for the work on these! I can't say enough about the R&D process and his dedication to getting a solid product made on a very peculiar rail for the 16+ 570s.

I was able to put them into use right away with some 4x8 sheets of plywood (sorry, no pics) and they worked awesome. I was able to use the outer most holes as good tie down points for the cargo. And the sheets of plywood didn't get obstucted by the sharkfin antenna (this may change depending on where you mount the crossbars. They may even be below the fin). The bars are only slightly taller <1/4"

Again, thanks to Tim @ Gamiviti for the work on these. I will continue sharing photos and updates as I get more use out of them.

My dash accessory mount arrived the other day to solve a gear adrift issue that’s been bothering my wife and I for a while. This thread went from great info and research to costly endeavor quite rapidly once I got in the weeds on mounting options. I’ve never been completely satisfied by the RAM mounts, they do ok but often coaxed out swearing. I’m banking on the 67Designs being the “buy once/cry once” type of purchase I look forward to making.

My 67 Design order arrived today, it’s definitely worth the coin.

Originally, I had planned to use the 2 hole diamond plate mount to mount the ball to the dash accessory plate so it would use the existing holes. However, now I’m wondering if I should go with the yak attack rail instead for better weight distribution.

I will have the 2 arms pictured below plus a shorty one with one another one of their phone holders and 3 iPhones on there. Are the 2 hole diamond mounts enough or should I move up the the rail?

I was going to use a rail but after looking at it the density wasn’t much better than dedicated mounts. So I just put in three mounts. Working fine so far.

The diameter of the ball determines what you can mount by weight. Heavier item, get a larger diameter ball.

The 20mm ball will be fine with the weight, it’s the accessory mount and how it attaches to the dash that I was thinking about. My thought was the weight would be distributed more with the rail.

If you haven’t had issues and I see others with just the ball I should be fine but was just throwing the thought out there so see what others had to say.
