Has anyone used this brand before? How is the fitment?

I purchased this a few weeks ago and they're on the way. I can't see your seller there but I ordered on ebay as well. Manufacturers site was gonna make me pay shipping.

So, I can't answer your question but I took the plunge so I'll find out soon enough.

There are other users here that have used it without issue. I don't remember who.

I've seen these in person finally. They do they job but the design/manufacturing of them isn't exactly top quality. Everything is welded where you would expect a bend. Its odd.

Is there an alternative option to Planted? (besides DIY)

I have both driver's and passenger's side brackets. And like Joey said they could have been done a little differently to have bends instead of welds for the mounting tabs, but really the construction is pretty nice, the entire piece is water jet and the welds do appear to be of good quality. I am sure that having the tabs water jetted would have wasted much more material than having a square and a few tabs that are welded.

I've used Planted brackets a few times in my other cars and the quality has always been great

What seats did you end up with? Worth the swap? I'm debating on getting some Moabs.

I used wrx seats that a friend had laying around. I did not want to chop up the TLC brackets to mate the new seats on. The prefab one bolted right in we cut the feet off the WRX seats and bolted and welded them to the new base.

I have a pair of WRX seats on the way and looking to simplify the install...and not cut the legs of my seats. Did the planted bases fit right with the WRX seats after you cut the feet of? Have any pics of your setup?

I ordered a set of planted brackets last night...I am hoping the WRX seats will mout to them without much trouble.
They should. One of the reasons I ordered the planted brackets is the base is adaptable to different seats. I’m going with these Procar Elite Seat | Procar by SCAT | Custom Seating Solutions
After spending hours messing around with junkyard and seats I found on CL. I decided to go with someting I know will fit and mount properly. The WRX seats should be a great improvement. I looked for some of those without any luck.

I have these in my rig now. I feel like mine may have been goofed though. With the bracket fully torqued down, it sat with about (I didn't measure) a 5-7 degree down slope towards the back seat. the solution I used to get mine more level was machine bushings and a longer rear mount bolt. As it is, I can barely get my hand under there which is not the case with factory powered seats.
Someone on here said that their rear heater still fit. I had previously pulled mine, but I really doubt it would fit.
Did everyone else have planted brackets that seemed low or too sloped or anything like this?

I have planted seat brackets in my SRT8, the ones I got are circa 2014 and have been in there since with lightweight seats. Zero issues, and perfect fitment. I was actually thinking about getting a pair for my HDJ81 to replace the seats in it, but maybe their quality has gone down over the years?

The build quality and fitment (mount location indexing) was all fine, I'm just questioning the "platform" that is created by the brackets themselves and curious if anyone else that used them in an 80 series felt the same way. I will talk with "planted" as well since they are local to me.
