Pretty much the only source. They are nice. I have installed a few sets for folks and own a few myself.

Oh snap. Thanks Poser for the link. They sure are proud of everything they sell, but those look so damn good I may just pony up for a set. There has to be an alternative lamp out there that has the same dual filament function & clear lens from another application that looks similar to these lamps. Will have to spend some time google searching or see what the local Napa guys can dig up. I don't have an early bezel with the indents for the lights so they don't have to be exact.

so what is the best way to convert the bib lights to LED ? I'm going to use them a running lights as I am also using the large 78 style turn signals - I have everything else converted to LED so just looking for options that work well.

I was just wondering if a replacement style LED would be to directional making the light in the lens seem to come from a fine point rather than lighting up the whole lens like a traditional bulb

Yea, it looks like there are quite a few out there, I see what you are saying, I saw this, but I have no idea if it would be a good solution, looks like its just one LED pointing straight forward... they seem to have good reviews.
