What is the size of the compression nut on the fuel return line for a 76 carb?

And where can I get one?

Is there another solution?

I have been running a blocked off fuel return line and want to put it back to stock.

Thanks,
Phil

Phil, the nut is still available from Toyota, and not that expensive.

What about the nipple or fitting that makes up into the airhorn where the return line come in?

I have a new to me non-USA 10-1980 carb with the return line blocked off and I'd like to run a fuel return after I rebuild it.

I could sell you those fittings, but my conscience wouldn't be clear. First, that carb is not an ideal choice. Second, you could change to the 79-fuel pump and avoid the drilling (return is built into the pump)

Best

Thanks GA Architect. I really like your attention to detail on your '77.

Thanks for the kind words.

FWIW - If you want to run the return fuel line, I'd look for a carb that is set up for it. But depending on your engine/carb/air cleaner set up, it may be easier to listen to @65swb45 advice. If you just have to have the return, I may have a '75/'76 carb I'd part with.

I do have the carb return line fitting on mine. It was @77mustard40 who is contemplating the modification.
