Pleezzze tell me they are not in MO.![]()
Come on guys ,I am about ready to pull the top from my 73 next week or so.
All you Utah folks not ready for this![]()
I do have two surplus FRP tops....
For that price, just buy a new one from Toyota
A new what?
A new what?
All I need is the canvas part
Since we were referring to FRP and soft tops I meant soft top.
I've managed to find the rear window surround support for the soft top for my BJ74.
I also have a factory front soft top windshield frame with channel, so all I need is the canvas part, but I'm afraid to
price it out. All the bits are expensive..
Do you have any photos of the windshield frame channel?
There are a couple of after market kits apparently still around in Portugal but they are a bit expensive for me at the moment.
I removed the channel, and will then replace the welds with nutserts. I put the FRP top on for
winter and will remove in the spring and then I plan on a simple bikini top while I source some kind of soft
top replacement.
The first pic, the channel is just sitting on the window frame for scale
I'm going to take a bunch more pics of all the soft top pieces for reference and show the differences from a factory FRP top to a factory soft top. I don't have all the pieces, but the ones I don't have I can make.

So with the channel removed it is the same screen frame as used on the FRP top then?
